When I set out to develop the visiblechanges range of skincare products, I had only one goal in mind … to create the best skin care products in the world. That means the best in terms of their effectiveness in creating beautiful, healthy and younger-looking skin, without any adverse side-effects.
I sourced out the most effective ingredients, whatever the cost.
Unlike most skincare companies, which give their R&D people an upper budget limit, my sole directive was to, “find us the best products that actually work”.
Before I started developing the visiblechanges range, we searched out the best skincare products in the world. I looked at all the top brands. My aim was to produce significantly superior products, offering better value for money, than anything else on the market.
Was that a bold ambition?
Maybe. But that’s what I aimed for and that’s what I believe we have achieved with the visiblechanges range of skincare products.
The truth about most skincare products … even the top brands
Most claims made for skincare products are based on just a few active ingredients in the product. When you analyse these products, in most cases the vital active ingredients are in surprisingly low concentrations, in fact, so low that their effectiveness is limited. Most of the product is made up of synthetic waxes and similar fillers.
Our products contain more active ingredients (per volume of product) than most of the big-name skincare brands
The visiblechanges range of personal care products contains a large number of active ingredients, at much higher concentrations than in most rival products. In every one of our products, at least 50% comprises active ingredients.
When you put any product onto your skin, you’re actually eating it
Every time you apply a product to your skin, some of the active ingredients ultimately make their way into your blood stream. So you are effectively eating them.
That’s why I insist every ingredient in our products is pure enough that you could safely eat it! (Unlike most of the big-name brands, which contain chemicals I don’t believe you should be putting on your skin and absorbing into your system.)

No parabens, no fragrances, no allergens or harmful chemicals of any kind
Parabens are a group of chemicals widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Virtually all the big-name (and expensive) skincare brands contain parabens because they are cheap and easily available. But parabens have a potential downside. Some studies suggest they cause cancer, particularly breast cancer, and they can also affect estrogen levels.
And yet the manufacturers of most top-selling skincare products apparently care more about their bottom line than about your health. They continue to use parabens … and worse. For example, one leading brand of face cream contains triclosan, an anti-bacterial chemical that not only kills harmful organisms on the skin but also destroys beneficial bacteria. Triclosan is technically classified as a pesticide. Why would you put that on your skin?
At visiblechanges we prefer to err on the side of caution and have thus decided to exclude parabens, and any other ingredient that has a question-mark over its safety.
